3 Play ...
Formed in late 2012 the trio 3 Play ... comprises the combined talents of:
Mick Allport (Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxes & Clarinet)
Dave Richmond (Double Bass, Bass Guitar and Fretless Bass Guitar)
Colin Green Acoustic, Electric and Classical Guitars)
Their repertoire includes both original pieces by the group membesr as well as bespoke arrangements of light jazz standards. The group members are all involved in the promotion of music education for young persons and are actively involved with the newformed OnTrack whose vision statement is " to make free tuition in a variety of musical entertainments accessible to young people, regardless of their social and financial background, and to encourage and develop their talent in order to impact a sense of acheivement and self worth."

Spectrum
The now defunct group "Spectrum" was formed in 1981 and comprisesd: Classical Guitar, Colin Green Concert Harp, Julie Allis, Double Bass, John Richards Drums, Chris Karan. They played original arrangements and adaptations of classical and popular music in a Latin American style. Julie now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Chuck Berghoffer who was Frank Sinatra's bass player!. Chris has his own percussion business and plays with guitarist Juan Martin, John works in and around his home town of Margate.
Colin also occasionally performs with his sons Romain and Morgan on drums and bass and also with Morgan as guitar duets
