Solo

Colin's main work  is in film and television recording. He worked as guitarist on Granada TV's 'Stars In Their Eyes' and the feature films 'Troy', Big Fish', 'The Life & Death of Peter Sellers' and the forthcoming Warner Bros production 'Fools Gold' with composer George Fenton. 

Autumn 2009 dates included the Variety Artists Benevolent Concert at the London Palladium on 12th Oct, concerts with Des O'Connor at Reading Hexagon and the Woodville Halls, Gravesend and sessions with award winning composer Debbie Wiseman recording incidental music for the BBC TV series 'Fry in America'

He has also played live concerts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and played with the Philharmonia Orchestra in recording the music for the Wembley Arena  ice spectacular.

Much of Colin's time recently has been taken up with writing two musicals - 'somedaughters.com' and 'The Shout' with his collaborator Geoffrey Loy who is Principal of the Norlac Theatre School.

"Trinity", the guitar trio made it's debut at the Long Wittenham music festival "Wittfest" which took place at the Plough, Long Wittenham on Sunday 27th June2004 Their next festival appearance was at Wallingford's 'Bunkfest' on Sunday September 5th followed by sets at Goring Unplugged and a the Wallingford Acoustic Ballroom. . They repeated their successful Wittfest  appearance in 2005 (with Colin's sons Romain and Morgan joining in on drums and bass) and also played Wallingford's Bunkfest in both 2005 , 2006 and 2007. Colin's Bunkfest set this year was on Saturday 30th August at the George Hotel where he was joined by composer Simon Park on keyboards, Simon Bowden on drums and Morgan Green on bass.

He appeared (heavily disguised!) in the 2006 Garsington Opera production of Don Quixote by Donizetti

 2007 gigs with Rosemary Squires included 17th June in Westcliffe, 22nd June in Redhill, 2nd September in Christchurch, 19th September in Port Talbot, Pontedarwe on 20th, 21st October in Eastbourne and 1st December in Abergevenny . 2008 dates include Cannock, Christchurch, Grantham, Hornchurch, Helmsley, Catford, Grays, Scarborough and Henley.

Colin will also appeared as guest with the Brian Dee Quartet at Swansea Jazz Club on 19th September 2007

He appeared with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in an ABBA evening on 4th August 2006in Meyrick Park. Bournemouth and the 9th September the same year with the BBC Concert Orchestra for the Proms in the Park concert in London's Hyde Park

Colin once again took part in the music recordings for the 2006 Holiday on Ice spectacular which this year took place at the famous Abbey Road studios.

On New Years Eve 2006 Colin had the honour to be chosen to play at actor Robert Lindsay's wedding in Denham where he performed Sting's 'Fields of Gold'

2007 got off to a flying start when Colin recorded Debbie Wiseman's  music for the forthcoming BBC TV series 'Jekyll' which will be broadcast in March
